DeckRelay
Privacy policy
DeckRelay is designed to control presentations without collecting presentation content or requiring a user account.
Information DeckRelay processes
- Direct Bluetooth commands and acknowledgements travel locally between the Garmin watch and Mac.
- When Relay mode is selected, DeckRelay processes temporary session identifiers, pairing codes, authentication tokens, command types, command identifiers, timestamps and acknowledgement status to deliver commands.
- The relay temporarily processes caller IP addresses and hashed IP-derived identifiers for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- The apps store local preferences and temporary connection/session state needed to reconnect and operate.
Information DeckRelay does not collect
DeckRelay does not store presentation files, slide content, microphone audio, contacts, health data, location data, advertising identifiers or payment information. It has no advertising, analytics SDK or user-account system.
Retention and security
Relay pairing codes are short-lived. Unpaired sessions expire after 10 minutes; paired sessions have a 12-hour maximum lifetime and a four-hour inactivity timeout. Authentication tokens are treated as credentials and are not intentionally written to application logs. Cloudflare may process limited infrastructure logs under its own service policies.
Sharing
Operational data is processed by Cloudflare solely to host the website and Relay service. DeckRelay does not sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Your choices
Use Direct Bluetooth to keep command delivery local. Switching away from Relay or disconnecting revokes the active Relay session. Removing the apps deletes their locally stored state according to macOS and Garmin platform behavior.
